I have repaired a 5 inch crack suuecssfclly, but that was when I did it for work. It is possible. Call a glass repairman and not a replacement shop if possible. Not all, but some will simply tell you that it has to be replaced so that they can make a sale, but someone who only repairs has no incentive to say that, and if they fail to repair it they probably wont charge you. by Charles posted on Tuesday, December 22, 2015

1292467. Ally, you're writing

Ally, you're writing from my heart again. A year ago I was runnreitg from China aimlessly shooting out resumes. I didn't know I'd be living here, be making a living as a freelance writer, be part of the Prodigal team, be ghostwriting for someone I'd only dreamed about talking to, be grant-writing for an organization I believe in, be part of a house church, etc. I could not have predicted any of this. I was expecting a comfortable job in a new city where I was struggling to find a church and get plugged in or maybe even full-time mission work in some foreign country. Funny how God works. Funny how fast God works.Katie by Ryan posted on Tuesday, December 22, 2015

1292466. Yup time is flying

Yup time is flying and Father's Day is alsomt here. I think the Bible cover is a great idea since it is something he will use and will protect his bible. I know how attached people get to their old worn bibles! LOL. They are much more comfortable than a new one, that is for sure. I used to try and make gifts for all the holidays and birthdays but I stopped because it was stressing me out how quickly they would come upon me. So now I make what I want and put it aside when it is done and have it for the next time. That's just what works for me because I need to keep stress levels down. I'm a stress puppy and it discouraged me when I couldn't keep up with everything. But you seem to be doing well, just be careful not to get burned out! I want to continue seeing all your great items![] Reply:June 15th, 2012 at 2:55 pmTwitter: Hi , This is one of his newer Bibles. My brother and sister in law bought it for him this past Christmas time. While I know he'd prefer one of his reference Bibles for church, he uses this one because they bought it for him. Oh I won't get burned out; I regularly rotate between various crafts. When I think, I've done too much with one; I'll focus on another. Why do you think knitting is in the forefront lately? I'm still crocheting, but spending alsomt five months exclusively on one craft (crochet) was a lot, but the result is a have a very good understanding on crochet, and am not ashamed to gift someone or donate an item I've made. With crafting I tend to make items well in advance, but Father's Day sort of sprang up on me. Which is understandable, my daughter is home, so I have more time with her. Also my business websites and clients projects are growing. I'm busy. Which is a good thing, since that means more pay.Opal recently posted..[] by Dina posted on Tuesday, December 22, 2015

MY grandson REALLY REALLY needs this bnlekat. He has struggled in public school for 4 years now. He is eight years old and has sensory problems and a severe anxiety disorder. Also a little ADD. Please help him as he needs this bnlekat for home. They finally got him one at school and it helps him so much on his breaks. Unfortunately, my daughter (his MOM) is going to school to become an OTA right now and she is out of money!! And I am out of work because of a disability. I really would love to win this for her and my grandson. I know it would be a real help to them both. Thank you. by Eugenio posted on Tuesday, December 22, 2015

We have been blessed to walk this jeronuy with you. While I can't say I enjoyed reading this post (can one enjoy weeping?), I appreciate your honesty, and your willingness to share your innermost feelings. Personally, I have been forced to question whether there's an underlying design to the tragedies, such as this one, that we face. I'd like to think that there is a design and continually search for the pattern the meaning the lesson the value. Isn't that the sum of being human ? I will be thinking of you tomorrow and every day (as I have since that decidedly horrible day last year). Lu Bev here from Vermont. I've been following your blog since Day 1. The Photo Guy sent the Architect Guy an email noicte. If you get a chance, come to Vermont to see us. I am loving the colors you picked for our house, and we also took your advice on painting our front door wall a pea green (it was so long ago, you may not remember you weighed in on that!). Anyway, your place looks beautiful, and I am one of those girls who thinks that orange and aqua are a great combination, thank you very much. Appreciate seeing this clip again. (Sand dunes). Like the oterhs here, I'm finding it hard to believe it's been a year. I hear David \barking\ and remember the first time I heard him, here in our yard. DeDe had to tell me he was calling the kids hadn't gone off the deep end. They were always so happy and so much fun. Like John, I still have moments when I consider them on another of their trips this one a little longer. I'll help my 2nd great-grand-daughter celebrate her 5th birthday tomorrow remembering that I DIDN'T help celebrate it last year and actually, not remembering her birthday at all! In time I'll be able to celebrate her day with their day and without conflict the happiest memories around all of their lives diminishing the pain. 1292456. I have been I guess

I have been I guess dreading this day and awoke this monnirg with heaviness in my heart! It was not much different than the feeling I have had almost daily for the last year! But as I layed there in my bed remembering not just 7/7/2011 but the many years before I was reminded of the pressure in my chest so many times when my heart was so full of love and excitement! It might have been on their wedding day when the tears of joy touched my eyes and cheeks as I witnessed their promises to each other, it might have been the day Luke came into the world, or it might have been with the joy as Ryan came to make them four! It might have been when I was waking up on a once in a lifetime trip with them to some exciting part of the world I would not have visited had it not been for them. It might have been when David expressed his pride in me as I kept up with the group while on the 6 mile (?) trek in Thailand. As I watched Luke fencing and so proud of his accomplishment, or being there when Ryan got his White belt in martial arts. It may have been the joy I felt as Luke and Ryan ran into my arms as I tried to surprise them on a visit, the love they showered on me whenever I was with them. It might have been when they let me share the many blessing of their lives! The times I have spent in their home since they left us and all of their worldly possessions behind, as I touched these items and imagined how they found the special place in their home. I did not want to part with anything they had touched, clothes, toys, dishes they ate from, and oh the pictures! I seemed to think I could hold on to them by holding on to the THINGS that had been apart of them and their lives together. As I go through the years and my memories I will be thankful for all of the Blessings and do not want to forget the last blessing they left me with and that is the world of new friends that have reached out to me, to insure I still get my hugs and feel the love as they share with me. So as today is and always will be a reminder of a very sad day, it will also serve as a reminder to a time of living in a world without them and knowing they are all always with me! Love and blessings to you all that read these words and express your own heart felt messages , and know that each serves as a comfort and loving connection to four lives lived and never really lost! I have a set of friends who got a liltte boy when he was almost a year old as a foster child and then they adopted him a year later. He is now 3 years old and they are having increasing problems with him from severe temper tantrums to not sleeping at night, and everything in between. They have taken him to the doctor and he has been put on some heavy duty drugs and those don't work or make the behavior worse, so he's off of most of them. He has been diagnosed with ADHD, anxiety, and sesory problems to name a few things. They are trying everything they can think of to help their precious son. They feel like he has some undiagnosed problem and his mom is starting to think that he may have Asbergers. I was listening to a talk tonight by Temple Grandin and she briefly mentioned weighted blankets. It was like a light bulb went off for me, as I knew of someone who had one for their granddaughter. I looked up weighted blankets online tonight and read about them (and found your website). I truly feel like this would really help my friend's liltte boy. I would love to win a weighted blanket as a surprise for them, as they are now going on months of lack of sleep both for him and them as well. I truly feel that this blanket would be an answer to their prayers to help calm their son and so they all can get some sleep at night as they try to find the proper help and treatment for him as their financial resources are being drained as well. I hope that this deserving family will be considered and chosen as a winner of one of your weighted blankets so they can experience the gift/miracle of sleep for their son and also for them and a calmer son who has sometimes asked his mom to crush him with a tight hug. Thank you for your consideration in helping me to help this family. by Silvii posted on Tuesday, December 22, 2015

I like the medium and the dark, though. We're worried if we do anything too red that it will clash with our possessions or look like a nursery school with yellow, blue, and red. It may not sound all that fun, but it's a great excuse to sit around and make increasingly stupid jokes until all hours of the night. Now, though, I'm a big fan of as well as the wonderfully silly Apples to Apples.Around Christmas, we did a lot of puzzles. There was one in particular, Springbok's Christmas House puzzle, that we always did leading up until Christmas. It shows a house with the front removed so that you can see into every room, where people are preparing for Christmas or trying to go to sleep. And overhead, Santa is flying up in his sleigh. I have a lot of happy memories of working on that puzzle in the last few days before Christmas.
