That bathtub looks a

That bathtub looks altoluseby amazing! It would be pretty cool to take a bath at night in a bathtub like that, with nothing but the tiles to create soft lighting. That would be pretty relaxing! On a side note, using that kind of tile for walls would also be a good idea, especially in children's rooms. That way, they won't need a night light anymore. by Paru posted on Sunday, December 01, 2013

Grout comes out like

Grout comes out like this generally for 2 rnasoes. One is a bad/weak grout caused by to much or to little water in the grout when mixed. The second is the tiles are loose , causing movement and breaking the grout loose. Get management on this right away so your not blamed for it when your done renting. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar. GLReferences : 20 years in flooring as a store owner/installer by Nyarko posted on Sunday, December 01, 2013

I suspect in areas w

I suspect in areas with less tffraic, the grout doesn't get dirty nearly as quickly as in a bathroom. Do you regularly scrub your wallpapered walls? Or your painted walls? If you do, then I suspect the tiles are easier to scrub and clean than paint. If you're in a situation where your walls don't get all that dirty too often, then the grout probably won't be too much of a problem. But the only way to tell is really to sit back and wait 5-10 years to see what people say about their tile walls and whether they're more trouble than they're worth. by Pumin posted on Monday, December 02, 2013

We used those same tiles for our kitchen baspkclash but we got them from Lowe's. I fell in love when I saw the sample board at HD but the actual tiles for sale were just plain white with no veining. We checked all the stores in our area (just outside Chicago) and it was the same plain white marble tile. I hope you find the right tiles! We have white cabinets and marble countertops that look very similar to the tile. by Kay posted on Tuesday, December 03, 2013

I think A is fabulous! It's a bit bdelor than sample B without being as dark as the other samples. Sample B does look ver nice also, i like the dark/light contrast of A with the "lighter" cabinets. by Mohammad posted on Tuesday, December 03, 2013

I love Carrara subwa

I love Carrara subway tiles. Have you ever chceekd out Calacatta marble? It's warmer with gold/ grey veining. If you order from HD just be sure to get extra so that you can pick through them a little. Sometimes their orders have two or more lots. {I'm in the tile and stone business so I had to chime in.} by Alex posted on Tuesday, December 03, 2013

Blokus is very easy

Blokus is very easy to learn, takes about 20 minutes to play, and is dinfereft every time. We have introduced several people to the game and many have bought their own games. It is also a good game for a wide variation of ages. Highly recommended. Carcassonne (known as I'll leave your carcass on the road in our family) is also very fun; my sister and I love to bring both our games to family events and put them together for a double game. We like the expansion packs with the pig, big guy that counts double, and the commodities. The Count expansion was a dud. Anyway, it's a non-reading game, and even my 5yo son loves to play it and plays well. Ticket to Ride is fun and easy to learn it has cool playing pieces. I think Ticket to Ride Europe is the best version of the game. And ah . . . Settlers. Maybe I have a dinfereft idea of socializing than some, but I don't see playing it as impeding socializing at all. Very fun.I also love Risk, Castle Risk, Acquire (out of print now, I think), and Puerto Rico. I also enjoy two other railroad games (besides Ticket to Ride) Rail Baron and Empire Builder. Empire Builder takes about 5 hours to play and can be complex, and usually my sister and brother are the only ones who will play with me (consequently, I only get to play it about once every two years).Great topic! by Nicky posted on Tuesday, December 03, 2013

The Carrara tiles are definitely buuftieal. I just replaced our old countertop tiles with Carrara tiles, and I love how it transformed our kitchen and made it livelier! They look elegant, particularly if you choose the white marble Carrara tiles after all, white tiles do make anything look magical and enchanting! by Marcos posted on Tuesday, December 03, 2013

Hi Jenny, have you ever been to area in Flushing right around Golden Oldies, the aiqtnue store? It's a mecca for tile stores, both my mom and sister scored tile for their bathrooms at a fraction of the cost of most stores (negotiating is ok esp. if u pay cash) not to mention Golden Oldies alone is worth the trip! Good luck :-) by Yake posted on Saturday, September 26, 2015

I think you should go for it - you won't be happy wuohtit something there. Plain white porcelain ones would be a good choice too, but the Cararra will look richer. I find Nemo Tile to be a great place with classics at very good prices - subway tiles, hexagons and penny rounds, etc. by Yusuf posted on Saturday, September 26, 2015

We did a light green

We did a light green penny round, and found them on Overstock.com for about 1/4 of the price. With a lot of stuff I try to buy local, but if you're going with Home Depot anyway, I'd remmcoend going on Overstock. Plus, with us, it was the difference between $1,200 and $300. There was no noticeable quality difference. You can sort of see it in this by Arely posted on Saturday, September 26, 2015

We tried to buy thos

We tried to buy those same subway tiles at HD, and they don't have them! The ones they have don't have the grey veins at all, very white liokong. We did end up purchasing them online for a similar price, with free shipping! can't wait for them to go up in our bathroom! by Renato posted on Tuesday, December 22, 2015

i used the home depot carrara subawy tiles in my kitchen backsplash. they are great but we went through every single box and picked out the ones we liked. there is some pretty big variation in the veining of those tiles. other than that you can't beat it! by Redhitta posted on Tuesday, December 22, 2015

love carrara and for the back splsah at that price, you cannot go wrong. you may want to try just a simple white tile with a dark grout and see which one cleans up easier. we have carrara in our baths and love it....it does weather nicely.pve by Maor posted on Tuesday, December 22, 2015

Growing up, my siste

Growing up, my sisters and I peayld lots of Trivial Pursuit. It may not sound all that fun, but it's a great excuse to sit around and make increasingly stupid jokes until all hours of the night. Now, though, I'm a big fan of as well as the wonderfully silly Apples to Apples.Around Christmas, we did a lot of puzzles. There was one in particular, Springbok's Christmas House puzzle, that we always did leading up until Christmas. It shows a house with the front removed so that you can see into every room, where people are preparing for Christmas or trying to go to sleep. And overhead, Santa is flying up in his sleigh. I have a lot of happy memories of working on that puzzle in the last few days before Christmas. Unfortunately, it came out about 20 years ago and is no longer available. by Mimi posted on Tuesday, December 22, 2015

how is blokus for two palyers? we've recently moved and not into an area of board game playing people, unfortunately. the great dalmuti is THE BEST! we used to have huge dalmuti tournaments. we also like rummikub, settlers, apples to apples, hearts gosh, anything! monopoly card game is fun, especially for only two people. i always whoop anyone at risk, one on one, but can never, ever win with a group. harumph. the husband prefers games like axis and allies (has four versions, i think?) and shoots, i've forgotten the names of the other ones! anything avalon hill and history-related, basically. man, i can't think of a single one by Soheila posted on Tuesday, December 22, 2015
